About our school

Mount Annan High School is a comprehensive co-educational school established in 2003, which offers a caring environment and an extensive curriculum. Our school motto is ‘Be the best you can be' and our core values are: Strive, Respect and Co-operate. Student leadership is constantly supported through the Student Representative Council and our students have a positive profile in the community for their work in a number of areas including citizenship and sport. Our school is situated on a beautiful treed site and has wonderfully modern facilities, including music and drama studios, spacious classrooms and a Learning Centre for our Year 12 students.

We are well supported in our community by our parents and local organisations, and our P&C continue to work tirelessly to raise funds to improve the school's resources and promote parental involvement. The school also recently became a member of the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) which provides our students with numerous opportunities to be mentored by leaders from the corporate sector, thereby improving their life and career options.

Mount Annan High School is a proud member of the Mount Annan Community of Schools with Mount Annan Public School and Currans Hill Public School. The three schools work closely together on a range of issues such as primary to high school transition, Aboriginal student leadership, creative and performing arts, joint professional learning for staff, sport, public speaking and debating, to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our students. Our aim is to continue to strengthen those links and ensure that Mount Annan High School is the school of first choice for the students in our local area.

My staff and I are proud of our school and on their behalf, I extend a warm welcome to all new families who join our school community.
